This four-day extravaganza features a Welcome Culture & Style Party, Sunset White Fashion Fete, Global Glamour Fashion Show hosted by TV personality Tanika Ray and Sailing Excursion & Beach BBQ
The British Virgin Islands kicked off its 4th Annual Summer Sizzle BVI, the Caribbean’s premiere luxury fashion event of the year. Created by Terry Donovan, founder of Signature by Terry Donovan Events, this stellar production will transform the BVI into a vibrant catwalk, attracting affluent travelers, media, celebrities and influencers from around the globe. The four-day fashion and lifestyle extravaganza will take place from July 19th to July 22nd on Scrub Island, BVI’s newest luxury resort, spa and marina as well as on the islands of Tortola and Virgin Gorda.
“We are very excited about the return of Summer Sizzle BVI in the BVI where it was originated back in 2009,” says Terry Donovan, Founder & Executive Producer. “We will once again produce what is the most amazing fashion destination event in the Caribbean while highlighting the beauty, culture and decadence of the British Virgin Islands.”
Since it’s inception, Summer Sizzle BVI has steadfastly expanded in its global appeal and created a significant role in the growth of the BVI’s garment, tourism, and hospitality industries. This year’s slate of events includes the Welcome Culture and Style Party and Sunset White Fashion Fete, both which will take place at the Scrub Island Resort Spa and Marina; the highly anticipated Summer Sizzle “Global Glamour” Fashion Show hosted by TV personality Tanika Ray, and featuring international and local designers such as L.A.M.B by Gwen Stefani, LaQuan Smith, Kevan Hall, Cesar Galindo and more, to be held at the newly opened U.P.’s Cineplex Crystal Ballroom on Tortola, followed by a VIP After-Party; and a full day Sailing Excursion & Beach BBQ and Bon Voyage Party at Mooney Bay, Virgin Gorda as the grand finale to the weekend. Attendees of the electrifying weekend are promised culture, style and excitement with live entertainment, island cuisine, and breathtaking scenery.
Terry Donovan’s dedication to community service is highlighted through his recent partnership with The Rotary of Road Town, which supports several charities such as providing equipment for hospitals, schools and senior citizens. As an official partner, a portion of the proceeds from this year’s Summer Sizzle BVI will be donated to the organization.

Glamour, glitz, fashion, and fun are the focus of this spectacular fashion event. The spectacular fashion show will feature collections from illustrious designers such as L.A.M.B by Gwen Stefani, Kevan Hall, one of Hollywood’s top designers to the stars, and New York designers LaQuan Smith, Cesar Galindo from the Bravo TV hit reality show “The Fashion Show”; Byron Lars, Roger Gary, and Andrew Norwell, most recently featured on BET’s “Rip the Runway”, and one of the BVI’s very own talented designers; and Trefle Designs by Kristin Frazer, will complete the line-up of designers who will be showcased at the event. The main event will also feature international supermodel and Italian Vogue cover girl, Sessilee Lopez; Lancôme spokesmodel Arlenis Sosa; and many other top models and models from BVI & USVI.
