Krug House was conceived as a unique way to bring to life the generosity, fascinating history, and unique savoir-faire behind the legendary Champagne House. The weeklong event is held at a luxurious private residence that echoes the values and spirit of the house (last year it was brownstone downtown while next month’s events will be held in an exquisite Chelsea townhouse).
This year is especially exciting, as for the first time ever, Krug House is opening its doors to the public for two exclusive charity dinners with Chef Marc Forgione (current Iron Chef) hosted by Olivier Krug (6th Generation of the Krug family) and Maggie Henriquez (the brand’s President and CEO) to benefit The James Beard Foundation. The dinners will feature a pairing menu conceived and executed by Chef Forgione and centered around Krug’s exquisite collection of prestige Champagnes, including Krug Grande Cuvee, Krug Rose, and Krug Vintages 1998 and 2000 (all of which were awarded spots in the top ten of Wine Spectator’s ‘Top Wines’ Lists last year) along with other exquisite surprises.
