Eggland’s Best (EB) and legendary artist and actress, Patti LaBelle, are joining forces to promote EB eggs in a new radio series. The radio segments will air nationally in the U.S. over the course of ten weeks starting in September and will reveal how Eggland’s Best helps Patti LaBelle whip up her sweet desserts and an even better breakfast.
Patti LaBelle is known for her award-winning career in music, theater, film and television. More recently, she took her passion for performing and for cooking and expanded her presence into the culinary industry. LaBelle’s latest ventures include a successful line of food products, the television show, Patti LaBelle’s Place on the Cooking Channel, and ‘New York Times Bestselling’ recognition for several books.
“I’m as comfortable making sweet desserts in the kitchen as I am making sweet music in the recording studio, and when I make my delicious treats, there’s only ONE egg that’s good enough for MY family – Eggland’s Best!” said Patti LaBelle. “With 6 times more vitamin D, 10 times more vitamin E, 25% less saturated fat than ordinary eggs… AND better taste… it doesn’t get any better than the best – Eggland’s Best!”
“Eggland’s Best is thrilled to have the opportunity to work with the incredible Patti LaBelle,” said Charlie Lanktree, President and CEO of Eggland’s Best. “We look forward to teaming up with her vivacious personality, and culinary passion and expertise to help promote Eggland’s Best eggs.”
Compared to ordinary eggs, EB eggs contain six times more vitamin D, 25% less saturated fat, more than double the Omega-3s, ten times more vitamin E and more than double the vitamin B12. EB eggs are also an excellent source of vitamin B2 (riboflavin) and vitamin B5. EB’s superior nutritional profile is due to its proprietary all-vegetarian hen feed that contains healthy grains, canola oil and a wholesome supplement of rice bran, alfalfa, sea kelp and vitamin E.
