Philly Vegan Restaurant Week to Return this Fall

Philadelphia Vegan Restaurant Week returns for the third time, this Fall, October 13-19 with over thirty participating restaurants, including newcomers Kings & Queens Liberian Cuisine, Ka’Moon Egyptian Cuisine, Unit Su Vege, Green Soul, and LUHV Vegan Deli.

Special events are scheduled throughout the week, including a bake sale at Tattooed Mom on Monday, October 14, a special take out night at Miss Rachel’s Pantry on Tuesday, October 15 and a Vegan Foodcourt Event on Thursday, October 17 at the Rotunda, which will feature several vegan caterers with a focus on black-owned businesses including I Heart Chef NY/Soul of NY LLC, Night Owl Vegan/NaturallySweet Desserts, Nourishing Our Mind – NOM, and Unsoul Food by Meet the Docketts. Admission is free for all events.

Restaurants will serve either a three-course prix fixe vegan menu, or one special vegan item throughout the week.

A portion of the proceeds from the week will be donated to Misfit Manor, a Greater Philadelphia area rescue whose mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome at-risk animals, provide refuge to those that cannot be adopted out, and reduce the number of owner-surrenders by helping people care for their companion animals.

If you are a restaurant who wants to participate in Philadelphia Vegan Restaurant Week, please inquire at phillyveganrestaurantweek@gmail.com

The featured menus will be announced on a rolling basis via social media and posted on the official website. For an up-to-date list of all restaurants and to learn more, visit the website www.phillyvrw.com

Reservations can be made directly with the restaurants.
